Among the books represented here are <span class=\"title\">The Continuity of Music: A History of Influence</span> (1969), <span class=\"title\">The Interior Beethoven: A Biography of the Music</span> (1975), <span class=\"title\">In Quest of Music: A Journey in Time</span> (1980), and ample material for the various editions of his history of the Metropolitan Opera, including the nearly complete <span class=\"title\">The Metropolitan Opera: Centennial Edition, 1966-1984.</span></p> <p>There is also material for some of the books Kolodin never completed or published, such as <span class=\"title\">Chorley at Large,</span> <span class=\"title\">Fifty Years of Music in New York,</span> a significant amount of material for the history of the Juilliard School, tentatively titled <span class=\"title\">The Several Juilliards (And How They Flourished);</span> and for a biography of Alfred Knopf.</p> <p>Of interest are Kolodin’s diary entries, included in the research material for <span class=\"title\">The Metropolitan Opera</span> and the history of Juilliard, as well as several pages from Alfred Knopf’s diaries, found among the research material for his biography.</p>"}
