{"value"=>"<p>This sub-series documents Kalmanoff’s pop songwriting career, which was at its height in the 1940s and 1950s. The files contain sketches, lead sheets, lyrics and, occasionally, supporting non-score material such as clippings, correspondence or contracts (if a song has a substantial amount of such material, notes will indicate it can be found in series I, sub-series 3).</p> <p>Unless otherwise stated in notes, Kalmanoff is the composer and lyricist. Kalmanoff and his main writing partner, Aaron Schroeder, often wrote under the pseudonyms of Marty Kenwood and Matt Kingsley. Notes indicate when they used those names.</p>"}
