{"value"=>"<p>This sub-series consists primarily of correspondence between the Carson Office and people or organizations that Amberson, Inc. worked with to promote Bernstein’s concerts and productions. There are many letters or memos from Carson to the head of Amberson, Harry J. Kraut (often abbreviated as HJK), who delegated the majority of requests for Bernstein’s time and energy. In addition, requests received by Carson were forwarded to Kraut or other appropriate personnel within Amberson. There are no letters from Bernstein to Carson. The correspondence is in two sets, in a chronological sequence of general office requests and in a set of alphabetical subject files Carson maintained for specific topics such as autograph and interview requests, and condolences on Bernstein’s death.</p>"}
