{"value"=>"<p>This sub-series consists of lead sheets, scores and parts for Selinsky arrangements of popular songs (some songs are composed by Selinsky). The arrangements were used for broadcast on Selinsky’s <span class=\"title\">Strings In Swingtime</span> program and for recordings, and are usually for string quartet or string orchestra with added woodwinds, piano, percussion and harp, though arrangements for full orchestra, jazz big band or choirs can be found as well. Many contain a published lead sheet or, in some cases, a published stock arrangement customized by Selinsky with additional parts or edits. Most of the arrangements are undated, though they likely date from the mid-1930s to the 1940s. Some folders contain only lead sheets or sketches for arrangements. See also oversized arrangements in sub-series 4.</p>"}
