Interfiled in the minutes are auditors' and treasurers' reports, and trial balances. Included is correspondence of T. Gilbert Pearson, mainly with Dr. Joel A. Allen relative to board meetings and appointments to the board. There is some correspondence relating to a proposal of the Winchester Repeating Arms Co. to provide a financial endowment for NAAS.</p> <p>The file relating to the Everglades National Park Bill consists of correspondence (1932) of T. Gilbert Pearson with persons who have written their representatives in Congress urging passage of the bill, and the replies received from members of Congress.</p> <p>The Financial Papers relate mainly to the Childrens Educational Fund and to the Russell Sage Fund.</p> <p>The Publicity file consists of summaries of publicity results, 1908-1910, made for NAAS by the firm of Curran & Mead; and copies of press releases, Dec. 1906 - Dec. 1907 prepared by Curran & Mead.</p> <p>The bulk of the unsorted correspondence is that of T. Gilbert Pearson. Included is correspondence relating to Horicon Marsh (1927-1928); the Pelican Controversy (1918); and correspondence and papers (circa 1929-1930) relating to the Rosalie Edge controversy. There is also some unsorted correspondence of William Dutcher.</p>"}
