The papers include one written for Gideons masters degree entitled <span class=\"title\">The String Chamber Music of Mozart with Particular Reference to the Quintets</span>. The text notebooks are subdivided by topic, with the exception of the notebooks used at Columbia and those used during Gideons studies with Roger Sessions. Topics include music history, harmony, counterpoint, opera and general music. One notebook, dated 1905, belonged to one of Gideons relatives, possibly her uncle. The music staff notebooks have three subdivisions: counterpoint, harmony and sketch/exercise books. None are dated.</p>"}
