The Hebrew poetics/lyrics appear under the music in transliteration, followed by brief summaries in English, and verses in Hebrew print. There are citations for melodies and texts. Front matter is in English, and includes the following: a brief foreword; the list of contents; two pages of annotative information about 38 songs in the book; and, a guide to the transliteration.
