Preceding the music of each selection is the following material: annotative information regarding source, composer, and writer; full verses in Yiddish print style and in transliteration; and, a summary translation of the text matter. Then comes the melody lines of each song, edited with guitar chords accompaniment, applicable for piano, and with a transliterated verse following upon the music.
