{"value"=>"
The Produced Works sub-series documents Paul Libin’s theatrical career outside of Circle in the Square. Production files may contain correspondence pertaining to the production; advertising material; casting files; contracts; financial and legal material; scripts and prompt books; technical specifications; and other material documenting the production of shows on which Libin served as stage manager, general manager, director, producer, or in some other capacity. Productions with comprehensive documentation include Warner Leroy’s Between Two Thieves, which Libin produced in 1958; Hair, on which Libin served as General Manager from 1967-1969; and Medea, starring Gloria Foster, produced by Libin at the Martinique Theatre, which he operated. Libin's involvement with the production and management of early performance art 'happenings' is also documented here, including works by Robert Whitman and Carolee Schneeman. Additionally, this sub-series includes abandoned projects: shows in various stages of development that were ultimately not produced.
"}
