Inness will apply for a warrant for him to raise the 2d Battalion of South Carolina Royalists, for which he has a commission as lieutenant-colonel from Gen. Prevost dated Feb. 1, 1779; if supplied with money he can soon raise the men; Gen. Williamson is still the same; the Long Cane people did well in furnishing wagons."}
