{"value"=>"<p>This series comprises mostly playscripts sent to Hagen, but also includes short story and non-fiction manuscripts. Many include related correspondence from the author. Several are inscribed to Hagen, such as <span class=\"title\">Broadway Melody 1492</span> by Jura Soyfer, translated (and inscribed) by Horst Jarka (undated), <span class=\"title\">The Gate</span> (One-act play) by Edo Demas (undated), and <span class=\"title\">Medea's Nurse</span> by Alan Brody (ca. 1996). There is also a copy of <span class=\"title\">Van Gogh in Brixton</span> by Nicholas Wright (undated). Of particular interest is <span class=\"title\">The Singing Forest</span> by Craig Lucas who dedicated it to Hagen on her 80th birthday.</p> <p>Manuscripts for other works include <span class=\"title\">Acting: The Magic If</span> by Doreen Cannon (1997) with accompanying note from Cannon's daughter, Dee, re: Hagen's possible writing contribution, and <span class=\"title\">The Heart Too Long Suppressed</span> by Carol Hebald (2000) with a request for a dust jacket blurb by Hagen.</p>"}
