She went on to attend the ITI \"Theatre Experts\" meeting in Paris, July 1947, and helped to draft the ITI Charter. Gilder was elected to the Provisional Executive Committee, which planned the Statutory World Congress, but was unable to vote at that Congress, as the U.S. had been unable thus far to finance a formal delegation. The founding Director of ITI / U.S., Gilder served ITI in a number of roles between 1947 and 1986, including Vice-President, President of ITI Worldwide, and President Emeritus.</p>"}
