O'Hara who came to Charles Town for the purpose; a council of officers decided that more than 1,000 could not be spared without relinquishing Savannah; he has therefore sent only the 19th and 30th Regiments, and has written to the Commander-in-chief for specific instructions; Gen. Clarke will secretly prepare to bring off his garrison; the man of war that takes this to Tybee will proceed to St. Augustine and St. John's, to bring thence the government vessels and transports, which shall be held in readiness to assist in case of quitting Savannah.
