The original material in this sub-series was never published or produced. In some cases, however, the adapted material was produced, but without Chayefsky's participation. Of note is preliminary work for a film based on the life of poet Edna St. Vincent Millay; notes from Chayefsky on Bob Fosse's scripts for <span class=\"title\">Chicago</span> and <span class=\"title\">Sweet Charity</span>; development material for <span class=\"title\">The Imposters</span>, a concept for a TV program which influenced the later creation of <span class=\"title\">Network</span>; and notes in response to a treatment for I.B. Singer's story <span class=\"title\">Yentl</span> submitted to Chayefsky by Barbara Streisand.</p>"}
