{"value"=>"<p>This subseries is comprised of correspondence, contracts, financial papers, some administrative records, programs, and publicity materials for both organizations and companies with which Cohen worked, most notably the Actors' Fund of America and American Express.</p> <p> Cohen served on the board of the Actors' Fund, and was also a vice-president. Several of his television projects, the three <span class=\"title\">Night of 100 Stars</span> specials and <span class=\"title\">Parade of Stars</span> were events held to raise money for the Actors' Fund. The papers include minutes, by-laws, and other organization reports from 1981 through 1990. Correspondence and guest lists for the <span class=\"title\">Night of 100 Stars</span> luncheon (Februray 18, 1981) can also be found here.</p> <p> In addition to sponsoring many of Cohen's television specials, American Express worked with Cohen to develop theater tour packages in the 1980s. They included a planned weeklong trip to the 1986 Laurence Olivier Awards in London. There were similar packages arranged for the Tony Awards in New York and the Emmy Awards in Los Angeles. (All but the Tony Awards trip was cancelled.) There is also a small amount of material for a number of other organizations, such as the American Museum of the Moving Image, the American Vaudeville Museum, the National Theatre of the Deaf, and the USIA, on whose Motion Picture and Television Private Sector Committee Cohen served in the mid-1980s.
