There is a significant amount of material on the Merriel Abbott Dancers, both at the Palmer House in Chicago and at the Bal Tabarin in San Francisco. Other nightclub performers include Janet Blair, Tommy Dorsey and his orchestra, George Jessel, Lisa Kirk, Olsen and Johnson, and Dorothy Shay.
