The author illustrates how theatre activity promotes growth in a teenage theatre group by analyzing the effects of activities upon the individuals and group. Analysis of the group's growth includes connecting specific theatre activities to particular therapeutic factors which appropriately met the developmental needs of each group stage. The author proposes that an integration of both dance therapy and social work practice and theory, was a fundamental variable to the success of the group.</p>"}
