The BERN framework identifies group patterns of <span class=\"title\">B</span>ehavior, <span class=\"title\">E</span>motions, <span class=\"title\">R</span>oles and <span class=\"title\">N</span>orms. A videotaped dance therapy session is analyzed using BERN. The group behaviors, emotional states, role members take, and norms members adhere to, are examined as an interactive system. This system is analyzed to discover how the group accomplishes it's task of becoming a group.</p>"}
