{"value"=>"<p> <span class=\"title\">A Comparative Study of the Hunter College Dance/Movement Therapy Masters Program and an Encounter Group</span></p> <p>This thesis examines the history, process and outcome of encounter groups and related laboratory training programs. Included in the literature review is a summary of the experiential courses in the Hunter College Dance/Movement Therapy Masters Program with an outline of their goals and requirements.</p> <p>A qualitative analysis was performed on the results of a questionnaire distributed to eleven students near the completion of their training in Dance/Movement Therapy at Hunter College. The results show a significant similarity between the outcomes of the participants' experience in encounter groups and the outcomes of experiences for the Dance Therapy students involved in the study. Comparisons are also drawn between the nature of specific courses in the program and the encounter group.</p>"}
