The largest number of these include <span class=\"persname\">Lucia's</span> letters to her mother, <span class=\"persname\">Elizabeth Hosmer Kellogg Chase</span>, and letters to <span class=\"persname\">Lucia</span> from her father, <span class=\"persname\">Irving Hall Chase</span>, two of her sisters, <span class=\"persname\">Dorothy “Dee” Carmody</span>, and <span class=\"persname\">Elizabeth “E. I.”</span> or <span class=\"persname\">“Lizette” Davies</span>, and both of her sons, <span class=\"persname\">Thomas III</span> and <span class=\"persname\">Alexander “Sandy.”</span></p> <p>This series also contains eleven diaries written by <span class=\"persname\">Lucia</span> between the years 1914 and 1968. Six of these are of a personal nature, and the other five are journals kept while on various tours with the Ballet Theatre.</p> <p>There are an additional eighty letters requesting personal favors or extending invitations to various benefits, parties, etc.</p>"}
