Lincoln's letter, and has made inquiry about the rum and other stores in the hands of the late continental commissary, whose deputy Mr. Valentine is out of town, but a return of his transactions has been rendered to Mr. Gervais; as the seamen must be supplied, an order for two hogsheads will be given, and they will be sent with the guard accompanying the prisoners."}
