{"value"=>"<p>These files document the exhibits at the White Barn Theatre Museum and contain programs, correspondence, exhibition captions, and documents used in the exhibition. In 1992 Miss Lortel opened the White Barn Museum, a separate building adjacent to the Theatre, to house annual exhibits devoted to individuals with whom Miss Lortel had been involved theatrically. At each opening event a dedication and tribute to the personality took place. At the initial exhibition in 1992, Sean O'Casey was the focus, followed in subsequent years by Marc Blitzstein in 1993, Athol Fugard in 1994, Eva Le Gallienne and Ralph Alswang in 1995, Kurt Weill, Bertolt Brecht and Lotte Lenya in 1996, a gala celebration of 50 years at the White Barn Theatre in 1997, and June Havoc in 1999. The museum was designed and the exhibitions were curated by Dr. Mary C. Henderson.</p>"}
