{"value"=>"<p>This sub-series contains color theatrical sheets of actors in a variety of roles. The name two-pence coloured comes from the cost which was \"two-pence\". As with the penny plain sheets, these were created for the toy theater trade and used for home entertainment. Actors' portraits included in this series are Madame Celeste, John Collins, T. P. Cooke, Mr. Cooper, William Creswick, Maria Foote, Catherine Maria Forde, Joseph Grimaldi, N. T. Hicks, Edmund Kean, Charles and Fanny Kemble, William C. Macready, O. Smith, Madame Vestris and Mr. Wallack. Of special note are the scenic sheets included in the folder of miscellaneous portraits.</p>"}
