One ledger is labeled \"First National Perkasie - Augustus Goetz\" and records transactions from 1924-1947. The records appear to be in Augustus Goetz's handwriting, but also in Ruth Goetz's and other handwritings; a second ledger covering 1950-1957 records transactions from 1942 and includes income from the Goetzes' works, including <span class=\"title\">The Heiress</span> and <span class=\"title\">The Immoralist.</span> A third ledger with notes labeled \"Gus's Journal\" covers 1953 for expenses for their house at 1380 Lexington Avenue, then continues from 1958 to 1971; it appears to be in Ruth Goetz's handwriting, except for the 1953 pages. The fourth ledger is labeled \"Expenses and Receipts 1984\" and contains notes and several receipts which are clipped to the pages.</p>"}
