Also included are incomplete drafts of scripts, script fragments, correspondence, opening night telegrams, production and casting notes, contracts, program, and clippings. Correspondence includes letters and notes regarding the play from <span class=\"persname\">James M. Cain</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Enid Bagnold</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Peggy Ashcroft</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Hume Cronyn</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Harold Clurman</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Laurence Olivier</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Geraldine Page</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Lillian Hellman</span>, and <span class=\"persname\">Claudette Colbert</span>. There is also a note from Kenneth Wagg, Margaret Sullavan's husband. Of particular interest are handwritten remarks Ruth Goetz apparently made to several members of the cast and crew on opening night in New Haven. There are also comments on the play made by <span class=\"persname\">Arthur Cantor</span>, <span class=\"persname\">Moss Hart</span>, <span class=\"persname\">George S. Kaufman</span>, <span class=\"persname\">J. B. Priestley</span>, and <span class=\"persname\">Gwen Verdon</span> in Ruth Goetz's handwriting.</p>"}
