Opened at the Martin Beck, N.Y., on Sept. 18, 1931 and moved to the Mansfield on Nov. 16, 1931, for a total of 91 performances. <span class=\"persname\">Eunice Stoddard</span> played the role of Evelyn Connelly. Included in the correspondence are telegrams and letters from <span class=\"persname\">Harold Clurman</span> arranging for Stoddard to spend the summer with the <span class=\"corpname\">Group Theatre</span> in Connecticut and a letter from Cheryl Crawford thanking Stoddard's parents for financial support. Additional material includes programs, telegrams, a script side, clippings and reviews, and a program for a make-up demonstration in which Stoddard participated.</p>"}
