Topics are: child labor laws being applied to <span class=\"subject\">child actors</span>, a situation Wilson campaigned against ca. 1910-1912 and his popular play, <span class=\"title\">Erminie</span>. The stage child material includes a series of letters Wilson wrote to his first wife while he was in New Orleans lobbying for a bill to exempt stage children from the state's labor laws, some of his letters to the editor on the subject and printed reports. The <span class=\"title\">Erminie</span> correspondence reflects the struggle over the rights to perform it and fan mail, especially during the 1921 revival. This series also contains one folder of correspondence and notes on the publication of Wilson's book on <span class=\"persname\">John Wilkes Booth</span>.</p>"}
