{"value"=>"<p>This was Odets' first produced play. It was first produced at the Civic Repertory Theatre by the Group Theatre on January 5, 1935. It was later moved to the Longacre Theatre on March 26, 1935. <span class=\"title\">Waiting for Lefty</span> was coupled with his two act, anti-Nazi play <span class=\"title\">Till the Day I Die</span>. The two ran for 136 performances, but <span class=\"title\">Till the Day I Die</span> was discontinued when <span class=\"title\">Waiting for Lefty</span> was moved to the Belasco Theatre. Papers include copies of script in English, French and Hebrew and a radio version.</p>"}
