Boss would do it well; commerce is almost suspended in expectation of news from abroad; if any accounts from the commissioner at Paris have been received, he will be glad to hear of them; thinks that [Roger] Griswold will be placed in an embarassing situation if Lyon, \"that beast,\" is not expelled."}
