There are also extensive notes, drafts, and other papers relating to an article that Hardy was preparing on the historical development of gay culture in San Francisco down to its culmination in \"Castro Street.\" Included are notes of interviews with Harry Britt (Apr 1979), Stuart Loomis, a professor at San Francisco State College, with Duke Smith, political editor of The Sentinel, and others; and an analysis of mayoral politics in San Francisco in the aftermath of the assassination of Harvey Milk.</p>"}
