abstract
{"value"=>"Encloses an affidavit of Samuel Dyer; has thought it best to have his deposition taken in London as it may be of use hereafter; has consulted with the best council at hand and some friends of liberty, and they have agreed it was best to send the deponent back to John Hancock that an immediate prosecution may be begun against Col. Maddison and the Adjutant in Boston; if the affidavit is true, every honest man should support the complainant, that an example may be made of such violators of liberty; should a good charge be made against Admiral Montague and Capt Symonds, and the proofs be sent to London, there are enough friends of liberty to bring such culprits to punishment."}
