{"value"=>"<p>Mary Hemenway Field, known as \"Hemmy\" to friends and family, was William B. Osgood Field's third wife. She came to Westfield as his nurse in 1939 and soon became his companion and secretary. They married in 1944 after Field decided he wanted to leave Westfield to her after his death. Both decisions had the blessing of Field's children. She ran the farm and continued to live there after Field's death in 1949.</p>"}
