{"value"=>"<p>This subseries is arranged into two sections, Holidays and Private/Rainbow-sponsored events.</p> <p> The files presented here document the special events held in the Rainbow complex. Most of the files date from the 1980s-1990s, however, there are some historical clippings about events held during the 1930s. The events ranged from intimate affairs to the elaborate high-profile events. Some of the events were open to the public; others were by invitation only. Favorite events that the public enjoyed were the holiday celebrations for Easter, Mother's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. Celebrity-studded parties were held for film, theatre, and museum openings.
