{"value"=>"
This subseries contains what the company referred to as their Repertory Files. This includes the bulk of the materials collected and created for each choreographic piece in the company's repertory, such as staging information, lighting cues, license agreements, correspondence, budgets, bids, contracts, schedules, planning documentation, research materials, costume measurements and care instructions, photographs, diagrams and other technical drawings, scores, and notes.

Also included in this subseries are derivative works, or works that are related to, but not produced by, the company. This includes the works of Burt Barr, visual media artist and Brown's husband, and co-productions that the company was involved in, including documentaries that featured the company. These materials are represented by project descriptions, budgets, schedules, contracts, releases, marketing materials, and notes. Some video logs are also present here (see Subseries III.A for a description of these materials). Additionally, these derivative works contain dissertations and books relating to print publications about Brown. These files include permissions, proposals, typescripts, and drafts. Video sales and licensing documents, as well as other items relating to the Trisha Brown Dance Company's video library, can also be found here.

While some technical drawings were interfiled with their respective choreographic piece, the bulk of these were not and make up the Technical Drawings files. These drawings, represented through diazo and Xerox prints, relate to specific theaters, productions, or touring seasons. The majority of these are lighting and masking plans.
"}
