{"value"=>"
Subseries II.B., dating from 1975 to 1984, details Amacher's collaborations with the Merce Cunningham Dance Company through project files and recordings. Remainder, Amacher's score for Torse, and her sound work for Labyrinth Gives Way to Skin feature prominently in this subseries. Materials are ordered chronologically.

The Remainder files include notebooks Amacher maintained for the project, as well as descriptions of Torse. Recordings for Remainder consist of mixes for various performances; audio from performances in Caracas, Venezuela; and audio mixes used for a film version of Torse directed by Charles Atlas.

There are project descriptions for Labyrinth Gives Way to Skin, along with several recordings that Amacher labeled \"Magic Mixes.\" Most of these recordings are housed in heavily annotated containers that have been scanned and are available upon request from the Music Division.

This subseries also holds a large set of alphabetically arranged recordings that were grouped under the title, \"Recordings for the Cunningham Company.\" It is unclear how these items relate to the Merce Cunningham Dance Company, since most of them predate Amacher's involvement with the Company. Their titles often correspond to recordings elsewhere in the collection, particularly subseries III.B.
"}
