{"value"=>"<p>The file includes letters from Ghana and copies of obituaries, and a letter to Angelou from Paul Lee who was acquainted with Mayfield (dated November 7, 1981). Lee stated that he sent two cassettes (only one with the letter) which was a recording of Malcolm X at the OAAU (Organization of Afro-American Unity) rally. Sylvia Boone recorded the interview. This is most likely Sylvia Ardyn Boone (1940-1993) an African-American art historian. The cassette indicates that the OAAU rally was held in the Audubon Ballroom on November 29, 1964. The file also includes a proposed two-week seminar for colleges entitled \"Black Techniques of Survival.\"</p>"}
