These folders contain memoranda and reports on the <span class=\"title\">Times</span> 's efforts to adopt these techniques, from the earliest proposals by David Jones, Robert Reinhold and Henry Lieberman (1973-1974) to memoranda on specific applications by AMR's special assistants, William Stockton (1981-1982), and Adam Clymer (1983-1986). Of special interest: Memoranda on the value and reliability of polls and on continuing joint polling with CBS News (1982). Daniel Yankelovich's letters on polls and Henry Lieberman's memorandum of comment (1975).
