While some of the placards are somber in tone, others are colorful and amusing. For example, in the Wizard of OZ series elected officials are depicted as the cowardly lion (President Clinton), the scarecrow (New York Gov. George Pataki), the tin man (New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani), and the wicked witch (Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich). Opposite in tone is the placard that reads: \"The only way research is done on women.\" On this stark, black and white placard there is a picture of a scientist examining a human skull, with a skeleton hanging from a hook in the background. The organization advocated greater research on women and AIDS.</p>"}
