The reports describe his travels to Australia, Burma, India, the Philippines, and Thailand for the purpose of establishing local UNAC committees. The reports were directed to Aake Ording, his United Nations supervisor in New York. The reports from China describe his meetings with officials of the Chinese Ministry of Social Affairs and others including Madame Chiang Kai-shek. The reports from India describe his meetings with government officials and prominent persons including the Countess Mountbatten. He mentions his interview with Mahatma Gandhi and his relationship with Gandhi's friend, Rajkumari. Included are a few items of correspondence and six pocket memorandum books kept by Mr. Hertzberg during his travels.</p>"}
