Included are research notes relating to a strike (1934) of Southern textile workers; a report on the 35th Constitutional Convention (Jan. 1937) of the United Mine Workers of America held at Washington, D.C.; and a report (1937?) on a convention of the American Federation of Labor, held at Denver, Colorado. The memoranda relate to Labor's Non-Partisan League of New Jersey; to Frank Hague, mayor of Jersey City; to the American League against War and Fascism; and to a strike (1938) of longshoremen in Puerto Rico. Included are minutes (Nov. 17, 1937) of a meeting of the state executive committee of Labor's Non-Partisan League of New Jersey.</p>"}
