{"value"=>"<p>This subseries consists of files related to Proulx's family.</p> <p>Genealogical research comprises holograph and typescript notes, family marriage and death certificates, census records, family trees, newspaper clippings, maps, and correspondence between the Proulx sisters and genealogical researchers. The family's genealogical research also includes typescript accounts of relatives' lives and researcher's summaries of the work. In addition to Proulx family research, other related family lines include Brisson, Stone, and LaBarge.</p> <p>Annie Proulx inherited some of her mother's personal files and ephemera after the latter's death. The beginning of the Lois Gill Proulx materials holds related estate papers, including copies of Lois Gill Proulx's vital records, medical records, photographs of paintings, some jewelry, a copy of an eulogy by Annie Proulx, copies of correspondence, property lists, and funeral and estate arrangements. The remainder of the Lois Gill Proulx materials contains a dismantled family album and artwork removed from Series II.</p>"}

Ranging from 1895 to 2023, the photographs are of Proulx's parents, sisters, childhood, and her children. Portraits of Proulx are also held with the photographs.</p> <p>All sixteen divisions for these photographs were created and assigned titles by Annie Proulx.</p> <p>Division into three century boxes completed by the New York Public Library.
