The files include correspondence and event requests, notes and scripts for talks, promotional materials, undated biographic sketches, documentation from an international tour Didion and Dunne took in the 1980s, and sound recordings of speeches, lectures, and readings. Files are organized first into correspondence and general scripts, then chronologically by event date.</p> <p>When speaking, Didion usually filed her notes and annotated copies of the speeches together. Most events covered in this subseries are Didion's teaching and speaking engagements at universities. Also present are brochures and other material related to her attendance at the Bread Loaf Writers Conference, located at Middlebury College.</p>"}
