{"value"=>"<p>An audio letter recorded at Bennington College. The sender, a composer, is a friend of Swados and a fellow student, and sent the recording to Swados in Europe, where she was on tour with Andrei Serban's company. Swados wrote poetry for a piece by the sender called <span class=\"title\">King Mad's Kingdom</span> which had just been premiered at Bennington. The sender plays back a recording of that performance for inclusion on this audio letter, and a recording of a cantata about the Vietnam War she (the sender) composed, also performed at Bennington (begins on track 1 and concludes on track 2). She also discusses the piece and the reaction to it; and what was going on in her life at that time.</p>"}
