{"value"=>"<p>Begins, \"Another daughter he presently met / Who from church in procession was going …;\" included in a 21 January 1827 letter to Mary Anne Watts Hughes, MISC 3807. Variant fair copy of a portion of the poem Southey and Samuel Taylor Coleridge first published in 1799 as \"The Devil's Thoughts.\" Stanzas are here numbered 18 through 26 and would become stanzas 23 through 28 and 30 through 32 of the final version published by Southey in his 1837-38 Poetical Works. The numbering and reading of these stanzas is virtually identical to BL Add. MS 47887, ff. 9r, 18r-19v., published by Pratt on pages 468-70. See additional entry in Series II for letter.</p>"}
