{"value"=>"<p>This subseries is made up of five miniature artificial collections that were donated by prominent figures within or associated with the company. The photographs in this subseries date from 1959 through 1992.</p> <p>Janet Eilber has been the Artistic Director of the Martha Graham Center of Contemporary Dance since 2005. The photographs in the Eilber collection primarily focus on Eilber's tenure as a principal dancer in the company during the 1970s and 1980s.</p> <p>Barbara Lekberg was a sculptor and photographer who frequently worked with Graham. The photographs in this collection are of sculptures created for Graham's set design or work inspired by Graham's choreography.</p> <p>Helen Priest Rogers was a co-founder of the Dance Notation Bureau and a pioneer in the use of film to preserve choreography. She was a former Martha Graham Dance Company member and Graham encouraged her to study labanotation in Europe. The photographs in this collection are of Graham during performances as well as portraits.</p> <p>Bethsabée de Rothschild was a former student of Graham's turned philanthropist, benefactor and producer of the company. The photographs in this collection are of Martha Graham during performances.</p> <p>Dora Sanders was a dance photographer and all of the photographs included are of Martha Graham during performances.</p>"}
