There is minimal overlap between the two. The photographs contained here depict people, including Belafonte's family, more prominently than the slides in Series II.</p> <p>Trips to Germany, Jamaica, and Japan feature extensively; two albums from Belafonte's visits to Japan in the 1960s are contained here. Also included are photographs of Belafonte water skiing, an activity he enjoyed while on vacation.</p>"}
