{"value"=>"<p>The subseries devoted to New York City Ballet chronicles Ter-Arutunian's prolific output of designs for over 30 years. The design portfolios date from 1955 through 1988 and include designs for some of the company's most well known works including <span class=\"title\">The Seven Deadly Sins</span> (1958), <span class=\"title\">The Nutcracker</span> (1964), <span class=\"title\">Harlequinade</span> (1965), <span class=\"title\">Coppélia</span> (1974), <span class=\"title\">Union Jack</span> (1976), <span class=\"title\">Vienna Waltzes</span> (1977), and <span class=\"title\">Davidsbündlertänze</span> (1980).</p> <p>Two files also include drawings and sketches by New York City Ballet founders George Balanchine, Jerome Robbins, and Lincoln Kirstein. Of note are a large quantity of set models designed for the prologue and acts I and II of <span class=\"title\">The Nutcracker</span>.</p> <p>In addition to New York City Ballet's repertoire, Ter-Arutunian also designed for special festivals and events such as the Ravel Festival, Spoleto Celebration, the Stravinsky Centennial Celebration, and the Tchaikovsky Festival.
