The subseries is arranged into Live Performance files; Recordings; and Royalties. All files within each group are arranged chronologically.</p> <p>The Live Performance files include song lists, contracts, a 1981 tour notebook, itineraries, and an assortment of backstage passes. In box 11, folder 3, there is a group of files from 1961 called \"Belafonte Repertoire,\" which contains various alphabetical lists of songs, and many handwritten annotations. Some of the lists include album and publishing information, and others include songs listed by category and artist.</p> <p>The Recordings files hold financial documents, publishing information, receipts, and schedules from Belafonte's studio recordings. The most complete information is held in the Impact Sound files, which is a studio designed by record producer and Belafonte collaborator, Richard Anderson. The Impact Sound files are from 1968 and 1969, and include receipts for recording equipment and musical instruments, booking rates, invoices for individual sessions, and take sheets from Belafonte's album <span class=\"title\">Homeward Bound</span>. These files reveal the specific gear used in numerous sessions, as well as the dates and times that various tracking and mixing occurred.</p> <p>The Royalties files date from 1989 to 2008, and hold chronologically arranged statements of Belafonte's earnings for individual songs and recordings. Also held in these files is an album list, agreements, and a small amount of correspondence. The statements are from Sony, BMG, EMI, and Belafonte's Clara Music Publishing Corporation.</p>"}
