Coverage includes discrimination in the Army, African American enrollment statistics, poor treatment of African American soldiers, the Red Cross refusing blood donations from African American soldiers by request of the Army, and the sentencing of Alton Levy, who opposed discrimination at Lincoln Air Force Base. There are also clippings covering two instances of the killing of a white soldier by a Black soldier, one at Fort Bragg in North Carolina and one at Fort Dix in New Jersey.</p>"}
