Her repertoire consisted of humorous and dramatic dialogues, impressions of members of the Actor's Association in Harlem, and characterizations of people like Sojourner Truth. Swarz introduced her signature piece \"I Want a Man Like That\" during a New York holiday show. She also made her own costumes. In 1945 - 1946, she appeared in the films <span class=\"title\">Big Timers</span> and <span class=\"title\">Tall, Tan and Terrific</span>. She as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority (which often hosted her one-woman shows), and served as their second national vice president.</p>"}
